We practice both on the water and at Unionville High School, depending on the season.
During the fall and spring seasons we are on the water and row out of our boathouse on the stunning Octoraro Lake. 25 minutes from school, an easy drive down Route 1, the lake is a pristine setting with 4000 meters of rowable water and we are the only team using it. We share the lake with fisherman and a host of birds including Bald Eagles, Tundra Swans, Belted Kingfisher, Gulls, and so many more birds and wildlife.
During the winter, when we are not on the water, our practices take place in the cafeteria and the fitness center at the high school. These practices are during the week and Saturday mornings and either take place right after school or from 5 – 7 depending on coach and facility availability.
