WHAT IS OUR FALL PROGRAM?
The fall season is open to all 7th – 12th graders who want to give rowing a try. It is a non-competitive (we don’t race), no cut season that is an opportunity for athletes to learn all about the sport. We want to give as many athletes as possible the chance to get out on the river and discover the joys of rowing! It is a great low pressure chance to find a new sport.
For our middle school aged athletes it is the only season available, but our high school athletes can go on to row in the winter and join our spring racing team.

WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE?
For our Middle School athletes, the second session starts after most Patton sports end! We can even take you a few days into the session if need be, just email us at info@unionvillecrew.org and ask!
We will offer two sessions, each four weeks long with four practices a week, Monday – Thursday. Both sessions will be run in exactly the same way. The first session is Sept. 15th – Oct. 9th. The second session is Oct. 20th – Nov. 13. Each session will be coached by our high school novice coaches , Coach Maeg and Coach Erin.
We provide transportation to and from the boathouse. The bus will leave UHS at 3:15 to head to the boathouse. Parents can pick up their athletes after practice at approximately 6:50 at Hillendale, or 7:00 pm at UHS.
SOUNDS FUN, HOW DO I SIGN UP!
You will need to complete BOTH Steps 1 and Steps 2 below and pay your Fall Dues at the time of registration. This is a NO RISK opportunity, if after the first three days you decide you don’t like the experience, we will provide a refund! Please see the “Refunds” section below.
If you are flexible as to which Session you can do, please choose the “Either One” option, that way we can plan the sessions to ensure the best possible experience for everyone.
If you would like to do both sessions, you can choose that, however, we will place you in Session 1 and put you on the waitlist for Session 2. We will open the waitlist after we are sure that no more new athletes want to register for Session 2 (likely sometime in early October).

Generous financial aid is available! Please contact our Club President at president@unionvillecrew.org for information. Cost should not be a barrier to rowing! Please reach out before registration.

step 1 – register with the school – click to expand
You will need to complete the entire ArbiterSports process for the fall. If you are new to ArbiterSports you will need to create an account. If you are returning then your account from the last academic year should still be active.
Unionville uses ArbiterSports to register for rowing. Once you click on “Start Registration” you can find the link to register for rowing under “Programs.” Use our unique link, do not use the link for the general season sports. If a deadline is listed, you can ignore it, we accept registrations throughout the year.
If you created an account last year, you can sign in to that account and update your information. You will also need to upload a physical copy of Section 6 after getting it signed by your doctor. Remember, many urgent care facilities will do physicals, can often get you in quickly, and can complete the form for you if you need to go that route.
Your ArbiterSports information must be completed before the start of the season. Some key things to watch out for when doing the registration:
* The Section 6 form must be signed by a doctor and dated AFTER 6/1 of the current school year. Your physical does NOT need to be done after 6/1, but in order for your doctor to feel comfortable signing the form it is likely your physical should have been done within the last year. If it has, you just need to get the form to your doctor and make sure they date it AFTER 6/1.
* The student signature section is often a step that is missed.
Any athlete who does not have their forms in by the first day of practice will not be allowed to practice.
Please fill out the waitlist form below, do not move to Step 2. We will get you on the waitlist for Session 2 and let you know when we have openings. Priority will be for athletes that DID NOT participate in Session 1.
step 2 – register with the team – click to expand
Session 2 is SOLD OUT!
Again, financial assistance is available. Please reach out to president@unionvillecrew.org BEFORE filling out the form below so we can accommodate any financial needs.
Fill out the registration form below so that the team and our Board has all your information.
If you have any issues with the form please email us at info@unionvillecrew.org!
